Sky High Technology from Airwave

Center Parcs Elveden has unveiled their new treehouses this week which “deliver another level of luxury”. The two-storey treehouses include wood burners, Sky TV, private decking with a barbecue, an external games den and an outdoor hot tub. Suitable for up to eight guests, the treehouses feature four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, looking out over glorious views of the surrounding treetops.

Airwave is the chosen AV partner for Center Parcs and this latest installation brought numerous in-room technologies together to create the ultimate guest experience.

Each Treehouse games-room includes a 65’’ Ambilux TV, an evolution of Philips long-running Ambilight 'mood lighting' technology.  It swaps back wall-illuminating LED lighting strips for nine Pico projectors that actually extend out the image displayed on the TV. The TV also provides Sky and is linked to an X-Box and a Blu-Ray player - it really has it all!

The lounge area boasts a 42’’ Philips TV installed above the wood burner, providing Sky TV and a  Blu-Ray player for a consummate movie experience. The TV also has access to the bird-cam, a camera installed in the midst of the Elveden site allowing guests to bird watch from the comfort of their accommodation.

Airwave integrated all the in-room technology together with the Demopad control system. With a simple user interface, the guests enjoy all the features at the touch of a button, whilst in the background managing all audio and video sources. The Demopad is installed on a locked down iPad, with a magnetic docking device to provide charging capabilities.

In each of the guest bedrooms there are 32’’ screens, with access to the full Freeview channel line up and a dedicated bathroom speaker. Both the lounge and games room are installed with cutting edge Yamaha 5.1 surround sound systems giving a fantastic audio experience.

Toby Hart Operations Director commented ‘’ Working with Center Parcs on such an innovative project was a pleasure, helping to provide an unrivalled guest experience’’.
