The Brand
easyHotel, part of the easy group of companies, has an estate of 40 hotels in 11 countries across the world.
103 of the chain's 3,759 rooms are located at the easyHotel Croydon property, in which Airwave was approached to provide a TV entertainment system.
In keeping with two of the brand's key values "great value" and "keeping it simple" Airwave recommended a simple, quality system at a competitive price.
The Solution
Philips' EasySuite range of TVs ticked easyHotel's boxes, providing all the features of an entry-level TV with the added functionality of the Philips CMND TV information system. Philips CMND is an HTML5 based content management system, allowing hotels to create customisable, branded interactive information pages, embedded on each guest-room TV.
The Installation
Ahead of the in-room TV installation, Airwave implemented a MATV network, and set-up and customised a Philips CMND server in the hotel's office.
Using BTECH BT8200 brackets, Airwave wall-mounted 103 x 43HFL3014T EasySuite TVs in the bedrooms and a 55HFL5014 MediaSuite screen in the lobby.
