The Brand

Part of Accor's Ennismore - Lifestyle Collection, the Hoxton is a series of open-house hotels, all embedded in the culture and community of the surrounding neighbourhood.

With 11 hotels and 1,988 rooms (and a further 10 hotels and 1,907 rooms in the pipeline) the Hoxton is known for trendy, vibrant lobbies and a design-orientated guest experience.

The Hotel

Built on the site of the former post office at 65 - 69 Shepherd's Bush Green, the nine storey Hoxton Shepherd's Bush sits within the eclectic markets and bustling pubs of West London's Shepherd's Bush. Featuring a wraparound bar, a Thai Americana diner, retail space and a meeting & events venue, the Hoxton's latest property boasts a vibrant, Art Deco aesthetic and a hopelessly cool vibe.

I've been called hopeless many times before, but never cool, so it was a fantastic opportunity to work on another Hoxton project in London. And if ever you find yourself in West London, I recommend a visit!

The hotel's 237 bedrooms come in all shapes and sizes, but are all homely, cosy and sumptuously decorated -  and boast top notch TV technology, of course.

The Technology

We played no part in wallpaper design, soft furnishings or colour palettes, but did lend a hand in the build and implementation of a guestroom entertainment system.

This was fronted by 43-inch Samsung HAU800 smart TVs and underpinned by TV reception infrastructure and an IPTV headend.

Otrum's Mirage guestroom entertainment system was also deployed, offering TV channel line-up management and native TV apps.
