Active since 1955, the YTL Corporation Berhad is an integrated infrastructure developer, with operations in Asia, Europe and Australia. The brand's key activites include utilities, property development, construction contracting and hotels & resorts.

YTL Hotels own and manage a collection of hotels and resorts in Malaysia, Australia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, and United Kingdom. 

The Hotel

Located in the heart of London's Square Mile, the Threadneedles Hotel occupies the building of a former Victorian bank.

Dating back to 1856, the London, City and Midland Bank's headquarters was designed by W & A Moseley, occupying 130,000 sq. ft of prime London real estate.

In 2002, the building was sensitively repurposed into a boutique hotel, featuring 74 luxury bedrooms, meeting & event space and a bar and restaurant.

Part of Marriott's Autograph Collection of hotels, Threadneedles offers luxurious accommodation amidst timeless surroundings.

The Technology

Airwave flat-to-wall mounted 82 x 50-inch LG UR762H Series hospitality displays across the hotel's six floors, including displays on the ground floor and mezzanine area.

An Otrum Mirage guestroom entertainment system was implemented on each TV, offering a branded interface, and links to a number of services, including the hotel's marketing video (featured at the top of this page), f&b menus and a Connect Your Device page, offering casting functionality via commercially certified Google Chromecast.
