Key Account Manager
David is responsible for the sale of hospitality TV systems and digital signage across Airwave's hospitality division.
Experience and Background
A degree in Forensic Science didn't really float David's boat enough to make a career out of blood work; instead he entered the fashion industry, working as a buyer for a fashion boutique in the north of England.
Soon followed a 20+ year stint in fashion sales into the retail sector, concluding with a ten-year tenure at Ralph Lauren. Here, David undertook a variety of senior sales roles, selling menswear into high-end retailers such as Harrods, Selfridges and House of Fraser.
A total change of direction saw David's entry into Airwave, initially working as a TV installation engineer, before a natural progression to the Airwave sales machine.
Mad on Middlesbrough FC, David also enjoys strumming guitars, tinkling ivories and wading through mud at Glastonbury. Indeed he's waved oversized flags at the Pyramid Stage at every Glastonbury since 2001 (bar one, the birth of his son being a bit of a spanner in the works).
David's favourite food is "all of it*", luckily, he keeps himself fit on his bicycle, and has boxed for ten years.
"Actually I've boxed for fifteen years" he corrects himself, "my memory is terrible, too much boxing..."
