Airwave Europe has supplied 650 transparent LED TVs to HMP Rye Hill near Rugby, a G4S run prison.  These screens have been designed specifically for the in-cell prison environment with the transparent TV design enabling fast and efficient cell inspection checks because of its bespoke transparent cabinet design. This model also includes a transparent remote control which further reduces inmate temptation to hide anything.

 All internal parts of the TV set are fabricated from plastics for health and safety compliance whilst the TV has also been incorporated with certain special features such as weak signal enhancement and a noise reduction function, which improves the quality of signal reception and delivers excellent picture clarity, and clear audio even when signal input is below normal standards.
