The Hotel
Described as the ‘UK’s Sexiest Townhouse Hotel’ by the Evening Standard, The Roseate Reading offers 55 luxury bedrooms, located within Reading's city centre.
Winner of Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Award in 2020, 2021 and 2022, the boutique property is known for its attention to detail; the hotel features wide hallways, vaulted ceilings and an Italian glass bead chandelier that hangs resplendently from the top floor, to the ground floor.
Facilities include a fine dining restaurant, a patisserie & boulangerie, cocktail bar, cinema, a number of meeting & event spaces, and a spa with three treatment rooms, sauna, steam room and state of the art gym.
The Technology
Following a TV reception equipment survey, Airwave upgraded the hotel's reception infrastructure, improving the number and quality of Freeview channels available to the guest. These were supplemented with a full grid, multiday EPG service.
These can now be viewed on 50-inch Samsung ET690U Series displays, all mounted on swing brackets, offering optimum viewing angles across all sections of the bespoke designed guestrooms.
Further technology implemented includes hospitality certified Google Chromecast, allowing guests to cast content from a smart device to the TV, and VOD movie app, Airtime.
