MDM at Center Parcs

Following a recent initiative to provide a nicer environment for its workforce, Airwave was tasked to design a technology offering for the staff dining areas across the Center Parcs portfolio.
Each Centre Parcs village is set in a stunning location, providing family holidays of all shapes and sizes in lodges, hotel rooms, spa suites and apartments. Renowned for providing a top-notch holiday experience, Center Parcs recognise that happy guests rely on happy staff. Naturally, Airwave was delighted to offer its services...
Commencing a roll-out programme in the dining-area at the Sherwood Forest site, Airwave installed four Samsung tablets in bounce-pad housings, enabling 270 degree viewing capabilities and providing staff with access to social media, news and an internet connection. For the most diligent of workers, each tablet provides access to the Center Parcs internal system including the innovative “rate an employee” programme, giving staff the ability to comment on their colleagues conduct and professionalism.
All tablets are run via a mobile device management platform and as such, Center Parcs are able to keep track of each asset, remotely managing tablets via an interface. This enables the quick and seamless updating of software and content across the Center Parcs portfolio – which can be actioned across all five sites, at an individual site or even at device level.
Airwave also wall-mounted a Samsung large format display, providing a live television feed, Sky content, a ticker and live traffic feeds.
“Centre Parcs needed a simple yet innovative solution” said Airwave Operations Director Toby Hart “the use of mobile device management enabled us to provide just that. Staff now have access to a portfolio of media that can be remotely managed and controlled accordingly”.
