The brainchild of industrial designer Karim Rashid, My Brighton offers guests a modern, design-led experience on England's south coast. The hotel positions itself as an 'exciting fusion of comfort, design and progressive style' but ensures there's substance to match this style.
Seeking a guest-room entertainment system to tick all the right boxes, My Brighton approached Airwave.
"This hotel is all about style" said key account manager Wayne Bowring, "but we needed to ensure that the system we recommended is as efficient as it is stylish!"
Airwave supplied and installed 79 x Samsung HG690 Series SMART TVs; the 690 Series features low footprint aesthetics, including a slim bezel and narrow depth, enabling the TVs to be flush-mounted to walls. A Google Chromecast dongle was integrated with each TV, allowing guests to stream their own content (such as Netflix, YouTube etc) on the room's television.
Located in the midst of Brighton's buzzing town centre, guests are presented with a myriad of dining and drinking choices; with this in mind Airwave recommended Otrum's CTRL interactive information system, providing a series of branded information pages (amongst other features).
Otrum's CTRL is cloud-based and as a consequence, negates the need for server hardware and the associated costs; CTRL is accessed via a simple login and can be updated quickly and efficiently.
